About the ocean houseThe locally owned and operated Ocean House opened it’s doors in 2002 and quickly became the culinary favorite of both visitors and residents of the islands. Located oceanfront in the Outigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, the restaurant features an unobstructed view of diamond head and breath taking sunsets. Designed as an old Hawaiian plantation home, it’s casual elegance transports people back to a simpler, more relaxed Hawaii.

The Ocean House is known for it’s succulent slow roasted prime rib as well as numerous pacific rim and asian fusion dishes. Signature dishes include; Seafood Lau Lau, Palehu Prime Rib, Sizzling Ahi Carpaccio and Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi.

Our goal is to purchase and serve, fresh, natural and organic products. We try to avoid items chemically treated with pesticides, hormones or antibiotics. Our fish is line caught wherever possible. We embrace sustainable and seasonal harvesting, green practices and fun easy living. A gluten free menu is also available.

The Ocean House is known for it’s friendly and efficient service, delicious food at reasonable prices and an ocean view from every seat in the house. We look forward to seeing you soon.
